The timing couldn't be anymore perfect for tigers to win this game. 15 days to rest and focus on the game while cleaning up their own flaws. Rebels are beat up on both sides, especially on defense where there are players being moved around to cover up for injuries and they got pretty much new starters playing against one of the better offenses in the country. Don't discount our excellent coach game planning

I read about this on Sunday but just heard the audio today. This makes me hope even more (if that's possible) that the Tigers put a savage beatdown on Ole Miss, and also makes me wish I had the chance to personally clock Musberger in the jaw. I can understand disagreeing with Palmer's assessment of our NY6 chances, but to continue to guffaw long after the comment was made smacks of serious disrespect.

Tigers can do themselves a WORLD of good with a victory Saturday, and not just in the polls.

Yes Musberger is a tough listen (IMO). Doesn't always seems to have the greatest info, or comes across as a phoney. Not sure why but just doesn't come across as genuine to me. (I really don't care about announcers unless they detract from the game and he is successful at that)

Musberger is a blank talking head. Knows basically what the control booth feeds him during a game. Knows only what is on the teleprompter when on television. He likes hearing himself talk almost as much as Costas. Just love the talk experts wax on poetic about sports but have never been an athlete in a contact sport.
