Hey, MTSU fans...
Who was it that came up with the 100 miles of hate name? I remember it was one of you all. There was a thread a while back (maybe when we moved to the Sun Belt or shortly after?) where the question was thrown out there. I was just trying to remember who it was that actually named it.

I think it is kind of cool that a guy on a message board came up with that name and now it is shown as a graphic on TV.

The first one I remember was BlueraiderJT. Not sure if it was him but I know he made the first graphic that I ever saw for it.

I know that the MT fans boycot everything in Bowling Green , but I truly do hope everybody that made the trip was treated with hospitality while at the game today and glad to see you make the trip. I don't think the game went as most of us thought it would and I'm sure a bullseye will be on our back next year

Didn't have any problems. We did wait til we got back across the border to eat, though. And yes, I think the players will not need reminding about this game next season.

That's good, but you did miss out on some good food. I have no issues with putting a little money in towns I visit and that includes Murfreesboro. I spend a lot of time in the Nashville area and bowling green has much better food IMO

We had no issues. Generally speaking early kick offs tend to help in that regard.

I am in Bowling Green pretty regularly for work. I don't hate the place to even though I am suppose to. Honestly though if you think the food in BG is better than Nashville we need to talk about where you are going in Nashville.

Hey, MTSU fans...
Nashville has amazing food. The Southern, Husk, Etch, Catbird... List goes on.

That's what I am saying. More chefs on that very incomplete list than in the entire city of BG or Murfreesboro put together. Not a knock on BG just not a fair fight compared to Nashville.

I personally like the food in Louisville, that is probably due to work picking up the tab though...

Let me rephrase the food talk. Nashville has some awesome food, it's just not easy to get in and out of the quality places or hidden gems

Y'all kicked our ass. Hats off to ya. On the topic, I did enjoy seeing how much the broadcast used the "100 miles of hate" name. Great rivalry with a great name. Can't wait to return the favor in '16 at home. This game did nothing but add fuel to the fire. Good win tops.

The TV Announcer called the "100 Miles of Hate" moniker the best rivalry name in College Football! After yesterday's beatdown, I believe that is just about right. Maybe now, Stockstill can move off that crap: "We treat every week the same!" 03-banghead

We had ZERO problems on campus. We even joined in with several WKU fans in making fun of a solitary fan in red sitting in a folding chair in the middle of the Creason St parking lot.

Our only beef was 1) with the timid WKU coed who passed on the opportunity to proceed in the three car gap at the Nashville Rd roundabout and 2) with the power hungry BGPD traffic cop who made me stop may car and lectured me about traffic after I yelled at the coed stopped in front of me. Those traffic cops would be FAR better placed at the light at Storey Ave to alleviate the backup there. Past that light, the road opened up and we were on our way to TN where we stopped for a late lunch before driving the last hour home.

I'm glad you had ok trip other than the game itself. Most WKU fans are no different than MT fans and we all are passionate about our schools

LOL. I live in BG but work at the Rivergate area... BG drivers make me crazy. They slow down in CASE a light turns yellow. I just want to scream at them. They go 5-10 mph below the limit on major roads. When a light turns green they wait a three count before moving. How can a city that drives this cautiously have as many wrecks as it does? Its maddening.
