Prayers for Coach Connor
Sadly, the SBC has had its share of coaches suffering the past 2 season. TXST lost their Head Athletic Trainer to cancer, then Coach Harrington went through a year of treatment for colon cancer. Then coach Lotief.

It has now been disclosed that TXST women's soccer coach, Kat Conner, is fighting Ovarian Cancer. That's as much as I know so I don't know when it was diagnosed or how severe it is. Only thing I know is that there is going to be a fundraiser this weekend with proceeds going her way.

Cancer is terrible and indiscriminate. All of us out here send our prayers and thoughts and hope for the best outcomes for all involved. God bless them all.

Thanks very much for the kind words and prayers. I'm pretty optimistic. Dad played tight end behind Gene Stallings for Bear Bryant at TAMU and he's pretty hard headed. Plus he's got my mom on his bottom to keep him focused on the fight. God Bless.
