MARMOT BECOMES TITLE SPONSOR OF BOCA RATON BOWL

Marmot is the new title sponsor of the Boca Raton Bowl, the postseason college football game owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN. The event will now be known as the Marmot Boca Raton Bowl.

The 2015 Marmot Boca Raton Bowl will kick off Tuesday, Dec. 22, on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET, at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. The game, in its second year, will feature a team from the Mid-American Conference against a team from the American Athletic Conference.

Just so the sponsor knows, I have worn my Marmot rain jacket to the last two Charlotte games. I heartily endorse their products. Now how about some damn dry weather!

When I decided to move back to NY, everyone was like - you're going to miss the Charlotte weather... well, it has rained here in New York just 3 days since Fourth of July... its been beautiful.

Soon though... I'm sure the snow will come!

Don't recall if we carry any Marmot/North Face/Patagonia et al, but we definitely have MT branded Columbia gear in our on campus book store.

Its confusing only until you realize the target audience. All of the MAC teams are schools in the northern part of the US. MAC will always have a team that will play there until 2019.
