For us old timers you forgot Jim "Peanuts" Davenport and Bubba Philips in baseball. Also, there was a center in the 90s who transferred in from MSU and played 2 years at USM and a couple of years with the Bulls I think. I can't remember his name, but he was from Jackson. Fred Cook (Colts), Louis Lipps (Steelers), Mike Dennery (Raiders and Dolphins), Shawn Nelson (Bills); Marvin Harvey (Chiefs); Jerrell Wilson (Chiefs).

Also in football there was Hank Autry, Tom Roussell and Ken Avery. Autry with the Oilers (now Titans), Roussell with the Saints and Avery with the Giants, Bengals and Chiefs.

Joe Courtney was his name, and he did transfer from MSU. He was pretty good.
