We were a tougher nation when we had segregated schools, asbestos in ceilings, no handicap ramps, kids getting smacked, women being abused with impunity, and toxic rivers.
Agree with you guys, let's move back to the past.
Obvious holes in the above nonsense aside, there is a difference between spanking and the like, and no longer acceptable abuse. And we are hardly worse off due to recognition of some no longer acceptable practices like those mentioned above in this post.
Jones has utk much stronger than they were, even if the results are not there. They finally got some breaks with Georgia...a seeing eye punt out at the one, a dropped TD pass by a Georgia receiver, and a fumbled kickoff giving utk life. But that is football and Jones did indeed have his kids good enough to take advantage. They will still likely lose a few more games...Alabama, Mizzou, SCarolina, even KY are potentials...but they will feel better with the win yesterday.
