Dude, you saw a 5th year senior (2 year starter) play most of the game v a jc transfer playing 3 series...not sure how you can compare the 2...but fans of other schools don't see what fans of our school sees...no worries...

RE: Lines in the Sand (C-USA)- Week 6
Week 6 -
.
USM @ Marshall - The homestanding Herd find a way to pull this one out. 31-28
UTEP @ FIU - having the Miners at home is the cure the Golden Panthers need to get back on the winning side. 28 - 17
MTSU @ WKU - The Toppers are starting to hit stride and whether in BG or Murfreesboro it won't matter. 56 - 31
Rice @ FAU - The Boca Owls have shown little reason to think the will do what it takes to win so other Owls win. 35 - 20
Portland State @ North Texas - tempting to pick the FCS Pilots but I will give the Mean Green the edge to pull one out. 31-25
LaTech @ UTSA - I see no reason to think the visting Bulldogs will not come out with a W. 49-24

I fully understand that Rice might be a good pick for this match but let's not invent arguments. FAU has comparable offensive stats to Rice's offense and Rice just allowed more than 110 points defensively in two games. Certainly, neither team is showing enough that it takes to win.

Easy to compare the two...by what they did while they were in the game. Your starter was better while he was in.

The Portland Pilots don't have an FCS team. Portland St Vikings do. Different schools.

Comparable offensive stats does not always translate into getting it done when you have 9 fumbles and 6 intereceptions and not winning games and only beating Charlotte by 10. To me that is not doing what it takes to win.

So, FAU has 15 TOs and Rice - 14 TOs. Charlotte game under torrential rain really means little in grand scheme of things...
