They have Boston College vs Illinois in the Detroit bowl.

What if the ACC runs a bit dry and the MAC fills in their spot? WMU vs Illinois? The PJ vs Cubit Part 1? :)

That place would be rocking!

Gotta go 5-3 MAC, but being a 6-6 MAC team gets you at the very bottom of the at-large pickings and risk getting left home. Need to go 6-2 in the conference (7-5 overall) to probably seal the deal.

Yeah, going 6-6 won't get a MAC team to the whole this season. Unless there's some teams we don't know of out there who will be bowl eligible but banned due to violations and such opening things up. Otherwise, we'd need a lot of in-our-favor-luck.

We'll need to go 6-2 in the MAC to ensure we get to a bowl. Loss @Toledo + 1 of (@NIU/CMU/@Ohio/BGSU).

IMO, I see us going 5-3, 6-6.

No, just in your pants because you have a perpetual wood thinking and talking about this scenario.

We have to do a LOT to be bowl eligible. Most of it depends on Franklin being healthy IMO. A healthy Franklin is a season changer. Still hard to believe he's in the MAC.
