Until we prove ourselves, that isn't unreasonable. I do have high expectations for this year tho.

If VCU is coming to town, make sure you have ebola-level infection control procedures at your arena. They are filthy, nasty, unwashed beasts like locusts that destroy everything in their path. Your arena-management folks will need circus-level industrial deodorants for the arena, and the slime of humans not comfortable with water and soap will create a stench and contagion-rich environment that won't subside until a few months later. Get your tetanus booster shots and bring your hand sanitizer. You have been warned.

They came to Halton our last year in the a10. Their fans were terrible

That is VCpoo for you..not surprised.

Your fans, if they can handle the stench, will have a very important job to do during the game: not permit the refs to get lax about the constant hand-checking and chest bumps. A foul is a foul, and needs to be called no matter how much crying from the visiting coaches and fan base.

You may want to hire extra security guards to patrol the parking lots. They have been known to steal hub caps.

I am not sure what to expect with UTEP this year. The team lost 3 starters to graduation, 1 to a professional career and another to academic ineligibility. Our returning big man Matt Wilms has decided to forgo foot surgery and will be limited in practice and games. UTEP did/does have an outstanding recruiting class but will pretty much have a new team this year. Floyd has said that the team has the best guards of his time at UTEP. At this point anything above 4/5 for UTEP is overly optimistic IMO.

They already have to deal with MTSU fans in Murfreesboro, I think they can handle VCU fans.

MTSU! You don"t know the VCU fans. They will make MTSU fans look like gnats compared to the West Nile virus carrying Ram mosquitoes! Mosquitoes are the analogy now since they've had what they consider a down season. The first year or so after the Final For they would be descriptive as filthy disease carrying Madagascar hissing cockroaches.

Some of you folks may have a longer history, but in my limited exposure, I've found MTSU fans pretty okay. Their arena, on the other hand...

Most mtsu fans aren't bad. Just that curly haired Afro old white guy they have is annoying. But are on the arena. It's horrendous.
