Will there be parity in the MAC?
I think we're being lured into insecurity by wins over second tier P5s and good ooc showings.

Ultimately talent and coaching will rule the day.

At this point I think every MAC team is well coached. I believe UB got the biggest upgrade with CMU a close second.

As for talent I think Miami got the biggest upgrade but are so decimated that it won't show up this year.

Most improved, BG. Johnson and year two of falcon fast might be enough to take down the West champion

By week 5 teams will have enough film to know the opponents weaknesses and to exploit them. Teams with big-time playmakers will excel in teams that depend on schemes will struggle.

UT, BG, and WMU have the most proven playmakers as well as the most overall talent. NIU has depth, experience and tradition. Central is too one dimensional, and Ball state doesn't have enough playmakers.

There will be a few surprises this year but in the end I believe the final standings will be very close to what was predicted on media day.

I think this is very important. We should never look as confused as we looked at Ga.So.

CMU is a must win. The biggest game of PJ's career.
