Seriously...why do we go hurry up offense in games like this?
Makes no sense. You need to try to shorten the number plays in these kind of games!

Broncos83, I see what you're saying. Why this "hurry up" offense in the general sense of no-huddle and going pretty swiftly too.
It's to actually aid in keeping the D off-balance to improve your chances of moving the chains and not going 3-and-out.
If you are going to go 3-and-out almost every time, you're going to lose anyway. If you slow it down, you have a greater chance of going 3-and-out.
Only exception would be that doing brisk-no-huddle just begets penalties or something. If it's not generating penalties (ie you are doing it properly), it's good to get your offense in a rhythm. If your offense is already in a rhythm and you have the lead, no need / no worries to.
