Didn't make it to sisters. Customer had to cancel on me for lunch so I thought I'd try Crowes. Sitting in here now eating chicken nuggets, what they recommended at the counter. Just drove through Troy campus and have to tell the Trojan fans on here I did not see one single Bama or auburn sign, hat, clothing, etc...while driving through campus. There were plenty of students out and about to say I saw a good enough sample size. I did have a car in front of me with Ohio State flags flying. Just thought the Troy fans would like to know this.

To many BBQ places in the town.
Sweet rack rib shack is better.

No surprise here. It amazes me that Ohio ain't empty. Most of them midwesterners have moved to the South and are standing in front of me in line everytime I go to Lowes or Home Depot.

I don't know when I'll be down there next, but I'll try to remember to check it out.

Hook's was ok. Nothing special to me.
Sweet Rack was good. Slow service though.
Sister's was awesome. It seriously tasted like my mama was in the kitchen. By far the best food I had in Troy.

RE: Places to eat in Troy, AL
Went to Half Oyster place. Most of the group wanted seafood and decided to go there. Waitress was nice, and kept our group of 11 people going with food and drinks. The strange thing was that there was one TV with the live HD feed of the Bama Georgia Game, where the tvs I was looking at were in SD and the audio I was hearing was HD feed. But at least I saw most of the first half, got to the restaurant around 3, it was full by 3:30. After half, walked around troy's campus a bit.

The thing people mostly like about Crowe's is the chicken tenders and sauce. The fries are garbage.

Sauce was not bad but I prefer Guthrie's or Zaxby's.

Guthries sauce is nasty...And my last name is Guthrie
Zaxbys chicken is too inconsistant. More often than not its not good
