RE: Big Ten Pick Em' Week 4
Ball State's offense pushed Northwestern around more than Stanford or Duke did. They have a True Freshman QB and young receivers, they are going to eat the MAC alive the next few years. Fitz is too conservative in his play calling. I just don't like kicking field goals when the offense is 4th and 1 yard inside the opponents 5 yard line at home games. Even if you get stopped the other team has 95 yards to go to score.
Ball State just ran out of time and were too far deep on their side of the field when they got the ball back with 11 seconds left to do anything. 5 point win was alot less than the spread.

Utah, wow they are solid, Pushed Oregon around all game. DId not see that one coming. Utes could be playing in the 12 PAC title game. Michigan's loss to them looks alot better now
Utah absolutely clowned Oregon. The Pac-12 was the craziest conference yesterday, as all the big matchups were routs.

Everyone on the main board bringing up our weak links again.... What teams bring down this conference? Purdue in the west that has been showing signs of life so far this year? Maryland and Rutgers are both having a down year already but suspension filled Rutgers beat Kansas. Indiana is still undefeated... The heck is up with that?

You will get used to it DD. I have been pointing out the flaws in their angry opinions for longer than I care to think about. It doesn't matter what happens with The Big Ten they focus on whatever they can find that is negative while they give passes to everything that is mediocre and ****** about conferences like the SEC.

RE: Big Ten Pick Em' Week 4
Speaking of underachieving teams in other conferences the last 2 weeks Mizzou who has won back to back sec west titles barely escaped over UCONN 9-6 and this week losses to Kentucky which hasn't done anything on the gridiron in years (hardwood is another story).
MS St is ranked with wins over Southern Miss (could be worst team in CUSA again) Northwestern St (FCS) and Auburn(who is terrible). The ass kicking they get from A&M next week should send them out of the rankings.
The mighty Gators are ranked with wins over NM ST(who should be in FCS) a 5 pt win over Kentucky and a 1 pt win over Tn. Next week they have MS at home, so a beatdown that week better put them out of the top 25.
While Iowa is 4-0 with wins over 2 P5 programs (Iowa StateUC & Pitt) and not ranked.
10/17 will be a day to watch as #3 Mississippi travels to currently undefeated Memphis. SEC teams rarely play road games and this one could bring them down. Memphis has beaten Bowling Green, Cincy & Kansas.
Mississippi is the only sec team ranked in the top 7 now and a lose to Memphis will drop them and potentially drop any sec team they beat.
The Big 10 & Big 12 each have 2 ranked in the top 6 with Notre Dame at #6. The sec could get knocked out of the playoffs this year if Mississippi losses to Memphis.
An undefeated Notre Dame gets in. One of the Big 12 teams will get in if undefeated. An undefeated either OSU or MSU gets in and a 2nd Big 10 team could get in with a close loss. UCLA #7 has OOC wins over Va & BYU and are ranked ahead of all sec teams but Mississippi. If Mississippi losses to Memphis UCLA will leapfrog them and be ahead of all sec teams. If they are undefeated they are the 12 PAC's reprsentative.
An undefeated Notre Dame is the ACC's representative in everything but name.
