But since it's coming from Huge it is likely the exact opposite will happen.

Well, the Rumor-Mill (just a rumor!) in some Illinois forums is that Tressel is being lobbied hardcore for the job, to then join This year as HC, but due to his suspension penalties as a HC, he'd rack them up for the remainder of the regular season games and Cubit would continue on as interim, so a smooth transition mid-season. But yeah, if Illinois wants to Turn Things Around, I really don't see anyone aside from Tressel as a hire-no-matter-what. Again, I am NOT saying that this Tressel thing IS happening. But it brings up about the only candidate who would Clearly be qualified no-matter-what. It's most likely Illini fans' wet dreams talking.

Given that Illinois doesn't have any huge injuries and the Cubits gets their QB on good track, etc... (a little bias toward Cubit/Illini)... %s will obviously vary from week to week...

Illinois situation is easy figure out the athletic director will do what ever the alums tell him to do. His seat was almost as hot as the coach. He's not really making the call on the next hire anyway.

"Huge" doesn't know if a football is pumped or stuffed.
