The AAC has said that they'll move the championship game to after the Army-Navy game for Navy to participate if they're in it, but that game is hosted at Lincoln Financial Field, where Temple plays. If Temple winds up hosting, what will happen? Will they move the date, or will they play the game elsewhere?

Worst case scenario, we could host at Franklin Field.

Not going to happen. We're giving Temple a dose of their own medicine this year

That is something no one would have predicted. I never thought of that, but wow, it could actually happen this year! Cheers!

Which seats around 30k? Could be a good option.

Isn't the championship game the week before the army-navy game? I am missing the conflict.

I'm confused on what you guys are talking about. Navy plays Army Dec 12th which is a week after the conference championship.

That would be a good problem for the AAC. Look forward to the matchup in Greenville.

RE: What would happen if Temple had to host the CCG?
Army Navy decided a few years ago to move the game back a week. I think that the logic was that it will give their game more relevance being closer to the bowl season.

I guess that Navy fans are thinking that they will see their team play in or win the ACC champ on Dec 5 then they can go out and beat Army the following week. A bowl game will also be waiting in the wings.

I'm a Quakers fan from WAY back. I never thought that forward pass thing would ever catch on.
