It's not the coach. Can't polish a turd. 05-stirthepot

Tulane has a nice on campus stadium and is in the south...no reason they can't get decent. Plus they are in a great recruiting area and it's a top school to boot.

They need to shake down some of those wealthy alum and hire a big time coach for 2.5-3mil a year and let him do his thing.

There's zero chance for the paycheck you are suggesting. It's a complete rebuild (much like UCONN). 1.5 would be generous.

That's why the alumni n need to step up and make some things happen...they have the money don't let em fool ya Husky :-)

Oh I know they do. But I think we're in agreement that they don't have the commitment to athletics to pay that kind of salary.

BTW Beacats...where in Arkansas do you live? My prior company was based out of Little Rock and I lived in Memphis for 3 years.

We have video replay of the Tulane special teams:

Tulane ... that was seriously the worst special teams I've ever seen, and I endured the first few years of Paul Johnson where he didn't have a special teams coordinator and they single handedly lost several games.

I don't think Tulane is as bad as they looked ... but fire whoever is in charge of special teams immediately.
