Wow, impressive.

Monmouth outplaying CMU in the second half. Still no sign of a run game.

EMU is crushing Wyoming. Nice.

I think we're going to hear more than our fair share of "Dear Kens" this season. :)

Ken may have found Barbie. Well, that's pushing it. More like an Average Jane. But still -- that's huge for EMU.

RE: Week 2 CFB Thread
Several MAC teams showed up today.

Toledo pulled a big upset. BGSU over B1G. EMU shockingly impressive. Buffalo behind PSU only by 3 at the end of third quarter. CMU and NIU taking care of FCS business.

Too bad we looked awful.

Miami and UMass also equally embarrassing.

Ball State is down 42 pts. at HALFTIME.

Ohio ready to beat Marshall. Nice win for the Bobcats.

Indeed, Miami and BSU got throttled, but by Wisconsin and #16 Texas A&M.

The MAC did pretty good this weekend except for a certain group of boat rowers.

True, BUT they were supposed to have great "back up" RBs who could start at many G5s, from what I've always heard. That said, it would have likely given Toledo more breathing room in their victory. Or less lopsided on paper in the opposite direction than a W that it was, if Hunt's running would have helped set an Offensive Tone (less than 40% time-of-poss; half first downs; 300+ yds of O vs 500+ yds of O for Ark). I don't think Hunt would have changed the nature of the game so much being in there, though. However, it possibly could have come closer to even on those how-the-game-panned-out indicators.

USA Today listed the MAC as a Winner this week. Bummer we weren't part of the party.

#2 RB Swanson and #1 RB Hunt were both out for this one.

Yikes. Combined with a couple defensive starters from what I hear out -- sounds like you guys SHOULD take out IoWhat State in the Glass Bowl. Don't do the MAC West wrong!! :)

Is Hunt coming back for that game?

Hunt, Swanson and a starting D-Lineman, Covington, are all expected back. Several players injured in the Arkansas game, but all were from Arkansas. We should be pretty healthy.

Rockets could run the table. It would be great to see another MAC team in one of the high profile bowls.
