Biggest Opportunity to put AAC on the map...this weekend?
If we could knock off just most of these. It would be a big weekend for the entire conference. Tall order but getting 3 of them 02-13-banana

Florida
Florida State
Stanford
Louisville
GA Tech

That would be a great win for USF...but don't think it would be enough to get media to say great win for the American. We need multiple big defeats.

Louisville, Stanford, ... I think it's an equal shot to drop either Florida State or Florida, if I'm being honest.

In that order, from most likely to least likely.

Georgia Tech is out of reach.

While USF beating FSU would look great (considering FSU is ranked #11), in my opinion, the biggest win would be Tulane over Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech looked like one of the best (if not the best) team in the ACC last week. Conversely, Tulane looked like one of the worst (if not the worst) in the AAC.

What about Kansas? Wouldn't beating them look good also?

If you don't beat them, you're going to be excommunicated from the AAC.

I'd be thrilled if USF could take down FSU... but it's a tall order. I think our defense is legit. If they have a strong day, keep the FSU score down... AND the offense can manage a few scores... AND we win the turnover battle.

It might happen... But probably not.

Actually Temple beating Cincy with a last minute interception in the end zone as Ciny drives down the field one last time might get a lot more views. Elevates Temple which needs it more than Cincy (already held in high regard). Helps promote a Temple winning streak going in to the first AAC Temple game at home (boosts attendance, which Temple needs more than Cincy.

All this elevates AAC, rather than the score you posted above. AAC needs big market teams succeeding.

Would love Houston to win for the same reason. Once our markets shine, the new contract with ESPN will be bigger.

And SMU. Lets bite in to that Dallas market. Will be a couple years, I know, but up is where this conference needs to go. Big wins and full houses.

FSU win would be a massive shock and would be quite the feather in the cap of the AAC but to be honest, I dont really think we win any of those games.

I agree, Temple can build a fan base in Philly with a successful season. Cincy's fans will still support Bearcats even with a loss.

Besides it would be Karma for not wearing the league "ribbon" .

Memphis beating Kansas would be big IF it's a full on ass WHUPPIN. I mean a 24-40 point win.
