Two "new" traditions that I hate...
1. Get rid of Chelsea Dagger and bring back Hot Time. Completely agree.
2. The other one that's totally not catching on is the third down thing.

^^^ What HE said! ^^^

I always think of the Chicago Black Hawks when I hear that song... I can't help it.

Hot Time was pretty awesome and a unique Waldo thing!

And we still aren't intimidating when the other team is on 3rd down. Just let the BMB do its thing on 3rd downs... (Bring back the "Jaws" cheer perhaps??)

GO BRONCOS!!

I didn't hear Crazy in Love for the first time in 12 years on Friday. I'd say that's progress,

Never a bad time to play the explicit version of Big Pimpin.

My thoughts exactly. This is a tradition I can gladly do without.

Come on Phil the last time you were at Waldo there was a track around the field. You wouldn't know the DJ from PJ.

I'll admit my tastes are dated. The difference between you and I is I acknowledge it, embrace it and accept it.

And I was at homecoming last year with my Niece and Nephew. Didn't see you there. 03-nutkick

All a DJ is, is someone who hits the Play button. Every stadium plays some "canned" music... but yeah, we put an emphasis on that now with a theme surrounding it (hence a "DJ"). A DJ is just for 'show', really. They just choose the songs and run a popular program to play the music. With a Fischer Price-like fake record player next to it all.

Well, they can play canned music, too (live). Gawd, if I hear "I've got a gal in Kalamazoo" one more time, I'm going to jump off a cliff. Maybe because it reminds me of the time I was chatting with a gal online from Kalamazoo via an adult personals ad -- which seemed like forever -- who turned out to be a man when meating. Either way, the song just gives me the willies.

Todd every time I think you can't top yourself, you just go ahead and do it.

You are too too funny. And that's coming from an expert in Dirty.

No, it wasn't intended. I was blind-sided by shock & awe. :)

Then we got the new sound system and between endless commercials and DJ PlaysAlot they get literally no time. So now when there's an ounce of silence they play. Terrell could be signaling for quiet and they'll play.

Solution- we have a great sound system and can pipe in any song we want. Time to retire DJ SmokesAlot

They get plenty of time Chipdip. Infact I think they play between 3 out of ever 4 plays. As someone who goes to the game to see football, they're merely an accessory to the game. That's all they should be. I think they have a different skewed view of themselves.

That's where the problem is. I'd rather not have a band present at all and a mediocre DJ, than a band that interferes with the game activity. Unfortunately the mediocre DJ also played music too long into gameplay, and that's on both sides of the ball
