Before this weekend I bet we would have been dogs, but we looked better than they did. GS fans upset with their qb. If we can get out of there with I win that will be very nice, and help our season tremendously. GS got a beat down and bet they will be going all out to get on track against us. Wish I could be at that game. Sounds like an outstanding venue, and a great fan base there.

Did anyone watch the GS v. WV game? Is WV better than advertised? Or was the backup QB for GS not as good as advertised?

I do worry about that offense they run; even after they payed an egg. Hope they saved some mistakes and turnovers for us. I do like what I saw out of WMU on offense and think GS defense will have their hands full. I think we will do ok on defense too.

I've got the Broncos by a touchdown.

....shoot. I shouldn't have given my prediction. If Vegas sees it that may change the official line.

I watched a little, but not enough to give a knowledgeable assessment. WV looked real good to me, but GS hurt themselves a lot. The qb made lots of mistakes. The GS fan base had nothing good to say about him, and had far better hopes for him than what they saw last night. Those people are not used to losing much.

Is the game on TV?

Weren't you at the game Friday? Thought you would be. I was screaming at those big ten officials, whether they deserved it or not. The killers were the hand to the face personal fouls. I am sure the hands were in Spartan defenders face, but I wonder how many times msu offensive linemen had hands in our face without being called.

The hands to the face on the first fumble and the TD were questionable. But elite teams tend to get those calls. We stuck with the process and things started to even out. You can't dwell on bad calls you just have to keep on rowing.

Was Monty in the box or was it Creek complaining? If Monty is back I'm getting a giant Neon Nekton.

For those who went to the MSU/WMU game, you can go to ESPN3 and watch the game -- even without a subscription. That's the good thing about ESPN3. You can watch games a day later for free. :)

I will be there. A 1 hour drive from home, and 3 other guys who have never seen anything but P5 games are going along with me.

GSU's coach was interviewed on local TV and said that he was not at all pleased with how his team responded at WV, and that when they fell behind they were forced to throw a lot more than he likes, and with the backup QB at that. I believe the backup is also starting next week. He's a good runner, but a poor passer.

WMU can have a great shot at winning by getting up 10 pts or so early. GS is not a come from behind team.

Weather forecast looks promising, about a 30% chance of thunderstorms, but subject to change frequently before now and Saturday.

I WAS at the game. My post was in answer to your question: "What did we do before ESPN 3?"

My son lives about two hours south of Savannah. I offered to fly down and we'd drive up. He's avWMU grad. He has Boards the following week and wants to use the time to study. Clearly not rowing with the program, his priorities concern me.

We only lost by 13 to #5 P5 team in nation, had a chance to pull within six late.

We should be able to beat a second-year G5 team from Sun Belt on the road.
