Waldo will be full of people who wouldn't know WNU from K College. They're just therefor the spectical just as the Comm U fans are there for free food, booze, and a comp ticket.

Now if you can get that group of 50 there in November then I'll be impressed

Me, wifey, grandson, and a cousin.

This is the grandson who has never seen WMU lose. Sadly, that streak will probably end. But maybe not. He is 19-0 at 10 years old.

Group of 6 of us headed to Kalamazoo for this one... 3 WMU fans and 3 MSU fans... I get to taste the suite life for this one thanks to a friend of mine who had a couple extra tickets I jumped on... It will be the first time I have actually stepped foot inside the Seelye Center too... Friday is going to be NUTS!!!!!!

All the time.

The truth is a hard pill to swallow, especially when you're heavily invested in a fantasy.

Wonder what the makeup of the crowd will be percentage wise?

I've heard 75-25 from the ticket office, but thinking more 65-35, maybe even 60-40. Expecting 10-12,000 to be wearing green.

I hear quite a few Spartan fans bought up the three game plan just to get the Spartan game ticket... Brilliance of that ploy is continuing to show... That should inflate a couple of our games attendance stats this year.

Will you be rooting outwardly for the Spartans, or just quietly against the Broncos?

Yeah, I've said that in a particular situation, at a particular time... ahhhh. OH wait, has nothing to do with football - lol.

Quote:Wonder what the makeup of the crowd will be percentage wise?

I would assume it'd be like the CMU game. Closer between those two, but ours is a game with more hype. Didn't analyze that or have the #s on it, though. Maybe 2/3rds-1/3rd?

Quote:I hear quite a few Spartan fans bought up the three game plan just to get the Spartan game ticket...

That's what I should have done. I did NOT think it was going to be virtually sold out like this and left to stub hub with inflated prices of $150+. Then again, I didn't think Fire Marshall Bill would persuade KB to cut off *all* grass seating when there were never any indications of every-man-for-himself panic situations when packed CMU & Marshall games were had.

Quote:We'll be like EMU? UGH.

Close. If we get Pepsi cans to start buying tickets, then we'll really be in EMoo-land.

Is that how you do for hockey? Solely so you can go to the hockey board and say how you would rather be WCHA?

I'll be pulling for the Broncos to win and win convincingly, kicking off a magical last season at WMU for #brocoach 04-rock

Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.
Last home game of my senior year was against Central, and I think they had as many fans in the stands as we did.
Both teams had 2 MAC loses and this game was for the MAC title and it still had maybe 20,000 there. And we lost, which sucked too.

Flying in from the west coast and first time back at Waldo in almost 10 years. 18 Broncos in my group. We'll be in east endzone.

I will be somewhere in between South Dakota and probably Michigan. It actually depends on the company I work for.

Do they know if the truck stops moving for three hours? You won't watch the game on the road I hope!

Yes, they track the truck and tell exactly where its parked. Cannot afford a ticket so, if I can get down to Kansas, pick up this load and get back toSouth Dakota tomorrow, then I maybe able to make it to Michigan just close enough to listen to Robin Hooks call of the game, or find a casino and watch the game there.
