Sunday Gazette College FB Extra Section - Still a Joke!
Checked out the "College Football Extra" Section of today's paper version of the Gazette. The page 1 MSU at WMU preview includes 1 stat about WMU.....and it is wrong! Says our 2014 record was 7-5. Wrong! Never opened the rest of the section.

I saw that today. Front page of the KALAMAZOO Gazette had pictures of Dantonio and Harbaugh. Didn't even bother picking it up.

Couch understood he had a plethora of writing material less than a mile from his office. His editors understood that 20k people showing up at Waldo was more newsworthy than 12 people showing for an LGBT rally.

DD probably gets it too, but given his resources and the priority his editor puts on sports, Drews gives us what he is permitted.

However, if WMU were in Grand Rapids I suspect it would get twice the coverage

Somebody call them and say HEY MLive! Why are you treating WMU like a second class citizen? Somebody with clout in GR should do that. Go in there and pound your shoe on their desk.

I'm surprised the Gazette even bothers putting out a special CFB section.

That might as well have been a lifetime ago.

Why do you believe that?

No question their business model is a complete joke.

BUT the worst part is that we all have control over the content they pump out. It's purely based on human behavior (i.e. page clicks)
