Great for L'ville. The B-12 screwed up big time when they passed on L'Ville. The ACC hit a home run when they grabbed L'Ville with Pitt, Cuse, and ND. What would the AAC look like today if the B-12 had taken L'Ville, WV, Cinn, and TCU to remain at 12 with a Conference Championship Game. The ACC would have taken UConn with Pitt, Cuse, and ND.

AAC - East - UCF, USF, Temple, ECU, UMass, and Marshall if the AAC couldn't grab Army.

AAC - West - SMU, Houston, Tulsa, Navy, Tulane, Memphis.

The Army and Navy game is a permanent cross over game unless an agreement is made for both to be in the same division if Army joins leaving Marshall out.

I applaud Louisville for their growth 04-cheers In the chaos of Conference expansion if there was one team that flat out earned their way into the Country Club by play on the field and investment in facilities it was Louisville 04-cheers 04-bow

Is there a huge demand for 3rd level end zone seats? I don't get it.

Why do I get the impression this is a "dick size" competition with UK and UL will do anything to prove theirs is bigger?

1. It more about adding field level club seats and completely renovating the Schnellenberger Complex...additional revenue stream plus we will be more inline with other ACC Stadiums in capacity but much more modern.

2. This doesn't belong here...love ya Wilkie but this is just doesn't belong on the AAC Board.

I said this on the UC board, but I think that addition...as pictured...is hideous. It doesn't match the rest of the stadium and that peak instantly reminded me (and apparently others too, judging by comments) of North Texas' stadium.

If you build this as pictured, I will be appalled. (And I may be in the minority, but I rather liked the most recent work on PJ's...)

Agreed. That's a hideous design.

Exactly. Be like me starting a post about UH's new stadium on the CUSA board.

How about move it to the ACC board where it belongs. This is nothing more than a big giant middle finger to UCONN, Cincy and USF. Anyone who thinks otherwise is lying to themselves.

That's exactly right. Many of us spent many many years on this very board, either reading or posting, so it's almost habit to stop by when making the message board rounds. It's also a good way to see how some of our old conference mates are doing. The silent majority of Louisville fans still remember where we came from and respect it. It's the vocal few that turn up their noses.
As a Tulane fan, I feel the same way about C-USA. That was our athletics home for nearly 20 years, and I am still interested in what's going on over there.

Yup...happy where we are but I have respect for the AAC...it was a great home for us in our time in the BIG EAST/AAC...came here this morning to see how you guys saw the upcoming conference race and saw this thread and was surprised it was even here...

Very nice indeed. That's said, most schools including ECU would significantly upgrade with an ACC invite. Congrats

One dirty city with red and black colors is enough for any conference

You know, most of the time I let your bull **** pass, because I think you may be on the slow side. But did you really just reference dirty city? As in Memphis is much better than either Louisville or Cincinnati? 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

The river cities should always be in the same conference. I suspect they will again.

makes sense. Memphis,Tulane,Cincy,in ACC.(river schools) I could see that if they go to !8 or even 20. P5 will be 80 teams i believe though. so 16 is the majic number. so im guessing Uconn or WVU if it is 16.

Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, and Tulane were all in the Metro Conference from 1975-'91, and then all 4 in C-USA from 1995-2005. Saint Louis Billikens were in Metro from '75-'82.

Isn't that almost like being the tallest midget?

2 football stadiums in the entire state?*

PS. Great off-topic thread....oh wait...the ACC Troll didn't even label thread as off-topic.
