I'm not sure the OPer is aware Louisville is IN the ACC.

Multiple Ville fans still frequent the AAC board. No problem with that.

That's exactly right. Many of us spent many many years on this very board, either reading or posting, so it's almost habit to stop by when making the message board rounds. It's also a good way to see how some of our old conference mates are doing. The silent majority of Louisville fans still remember where we came from and respect it. It's the vocal few that turn up their noses.

I never go to the CUSA board. Always look forward. You should be trolling the B10 board.

I wonder how much the city of Louisville is being fleeced to finance this?

It's a shame it was built that way. I mean they started from scratch, had all the room in the world to design in the best possible manner...and you get seats in a different time zone than the game.

I guess I'm spoiled by Nippert.

There is not a bad seat in the whole stadium. There is excellent line of site.

Excellent line of sight from a different time zone. My opinion respectfully differs.

There is not a bad seat in the whole stadium. There is excellent line of site. We had 42,000 in 1998. The stadium was design to have 84,000 seats. it appears we are adding 12,000 seat, which gets us 67,000 by 2018 or 2019.. After that we are 14,000 away from 84,000. I suspect we will be at 84,000 by 2029. I hope live to see it, I will be 80 in 2029, God willing. 04-cheers

67,000 + 14,000 = ....84,000? Got to love that UL education...03-lmfao 04-cheers

That was for the YUM! Center, which is owned by Jefferson County in a sweetheart deal that enriches UL, but screws the city's taxpayers. I think this project is different and will come from revenues relevant to football.

That's funny.

You know I don't intend to come off being so negative about UL because I genuinely like the school and love the city.

HOWEVER...

I think the future for crappy seats in mega stadiums is not bright. While UL's athletic department has made any number of brilliant moves over the years, I don't think this is one of them.

You are right 99% of trolling is done upward, such as Marshall fans coming here to troll.
Ville fans I would not put in that category. At least with info related to PJCS.

For a stadium that only seats in the mid 50,000s right now I am amazed at how far away some of the seats feel at Papa Johns stadium. You go to many 90,000+ stadiums, even 100,000+ stadiums and you don't feel as far away as you can at Papa Johns stadium in the upper deck.
