I must say that result kinda shocked me. I was fully expecting a win for us. UTSA has a solid volleyball program. I was keeping up with the game online before our football game that evening against Arizona. You beat us last year also though (3-1), so TXST seems to have a good program as well. Congrats on the win.

UTA lost to Denver Friday in 5 sets, then beat Villanova in four and swept Air Force. Now 5-2 on the year.

App State goes 1-2 at the UVA tourney losing in 5 to both Iowa St and UVa, and sweeping VCU 3-0.

AState lost a tight 5 set match to Missouri yesterday, but turned and beat Florida-Gulf Coast in 4 sets to leave the Tampa tourney 2-1. Now 5-1 on the year before we continue our tour of Missouri's FBS teams with a game at Missouri State Wednesday night.

Oops, I meant D1. We played SEMO, Mizzou-KC and St Louis last week. Missouri this week, and Missouri State next week. I've got football on the brain right now.

This is the best chance AState has to put an Olympic Sports in NCAA Tournament in quite a while. This team is very good.

What's impressive to me is that they have done it all on the road. We've yet to play a single home match, and will play 6 of our first 8 league matches away from home. Latest polls I saw had us ranked just outside of the top 25 in the country

I've noticed the last few years that neither Arkansas team plays non-conference home games. Why is that?

Our facility is multi purpose, and is often being used by events. We've had to move conference games before because of it. I think another issue is money, we don't want to pay anyone else to come in.
