If they are telling the truth they have nothing to worry about.

So you are saying the courts always get it right? Guilty people never get acquitted? If I rape some chic and then get a good lawyer and beat the charge my victim should face jail time?

That is asinine.

I didn't say that the defendant was found 'not guilty'; I said that it's proven that the allegations are totally false. Big difference.

So what is your standard of proof?

What would yours be?

I'd say a good place to start would be with the same standard required to convict the accused rapist.... seems fair.

I'm not the one advocating for punnishing a person for making an allegation. I would think that the laws regarding slander and libel would be sufficient and wonder why those avenues are never used by the falsely accused.

So you would put them on trial, and you dont think the potential to be put on trial would be a deterrent for reporting rape?

A good portion of the rapes that go unreported now are beacause the victim doesnt want to relive the attack at the attacker's trial, you want a victim to have to live through the attackers trial and then if the prosecuter is not able to get a conviction you think the victim should be subjected to her own trial?

Do you EVER add anything intelligent to a conversation or do you just jump in with grade school insults?

Russia and I are having a civil conversation; go back to your room and pick your nose some more.......

I think those are Civil rather than Criminal so there's no comparison.

Rose's accuser is going after him in civil court, there were never any criminal charges.

No separate trial necessary; it would all come out in the first one.

So, if you get rich and some chic accuses you of rape (while trying to get you to 'settle' out of court just to make it go away} and you absolutely didn't do it you're good with that?

Remember, there would likely be very little reason for you to counter-sue since she probably has no assets to begin with.....

I think you'd be singing a totally different tune if you were ever falsely accused.

However, to each his own. I'm simply for accountability all the way around.

Cheers.

True, likely because there's not enough evidence to indict him on the criminal charges. This is the other option that is always available. I can accuse you of raping me if I want to and file a Civil suit.......

Perfect example of someone who absolutely refuses to take their own advice.
You attack me every time you seem to be unhappy, even when I don't comment.
You are also never wrong, at least according to yourself, even though 90% of what you have to say is strictly attacks on someone or the other with no cause.
You are the one who needs lockdown in your room.

No separate trial necessary; it would all come out in the first one.

Again, you are depending on the courts to get it right.

So, if you get rich and some chic accuses you of rape (while trying to get you to 'settle' out of court just to make it go away} and you absolutely didn't do it you're good with that?

If it means my daughters dont have to grow up in a world where they can be victimized twice, once by an attacker and then again by the legal system then yes, I am good with that.

Remember, there would likely be very little reason for you to counter-sue since she probably has no assets to begin with.....

I think you'd be singing a totally different tune if you were ever falsely accused.
