How does Marshall play Miami in the Heart of Dallas Bowl? Does the ACC have a tie-in I don't know of?

the LaTech omission is awful; are there any editors at SBnation? Like the idea of ODU in the islands, though.

ODU in the Hawai'i bowl vs. BYU?

Not to say that ODU is a respectable team, but (and this is the important part) C-USA doesn't have a tie-in to the hawai'i bowl this year. Not only that, but we trade a slot in the hawai'i bowl against BYU for the Boca Raton Bowl versus Bowling Green?

Hawai'i >>> Boca, Cure, St. Pete... anyone of those AAC teams slotted there will go to the Hawai'i before they fall to those.

Also, what the hell is a quick lane bowl? Why is Memphis going there?

It is the Big 12 this year for the HOD bowl.

I thought C-USA had New Orleans this year.

I reluctantly agree on Hawaii. It was a bummer not to follow the Owls there last year, but when the second half of the blow-out win over Fresno State became a 2-hour ESPN infomercial on Rice Owls football, it was worth it. Hawaii is good publicity.

Yeah it does. This year is MWC vs American. Maybe AAC won't have a team? CUSA would be backup then I think. Not sure tho.

Arizona Bowl isn't getting done this year, we just have six bowls plus the potential for Independence. And yes, lol at all of those predictions. No C-USA team in New Orleans and one in Hawaii? Thanks for using last year's tie-ins, buddy. La Tech not in a bowl? Even more hilarious.

Stuff like this is why I don't read too much mainstream stuff when it comes to C-USA. In almost every article, you can tell that whomever is writing could give two ***** about C-USA and what's really going on. There's never any information in those articles that I haven't read on here (for C-USA related stuff) or on a USM message board (if it's USM related).

We have 7 bowls this year after all. The Tucson Bowl has acquired a sponsor and is a go for this year. If UTEP is bowl eligible, I would think the bowl would want the Miners since El Paso is only 300 miles a way and an easy drive on I-10.

In the Houston Chronicle pre-season preview for Rice yesterday, they picked us 8-4 and in the Independence Bowl, which would be an 8th bowl for C-USA (through the back-up agreement).
