Nah, we have rock you like a hurricane, and the same siren you guys use. Really we have pretty similar entrances, other than our new mascot is trash and there are fewer people in the stands.
Please return the siren,purple smoke,band,stadium,music,pirate,video board,50k crowd,and all the good looking coeds,tailgate parties,and BBQ. Other than that , I'd say we are pretty much alike....

I'd agree. Atmosphere-wise ECU has had the best stadium experience of any AAC schools I'd been to.

Haha I lived in Blacksburg for 2 years while working up there. (2012, 2013) and I went to 4 VT home games. The "Enter Sandman" intro is pretty cool. It gets pretty loud up there, too. I wouldn't say ECU and VT are that far apart as far as crowd noise, intro, and passion. There's just more of you people than there are of us...
But really, I enjoyed my time up there, met a lot of great Hokies who I still keep in touch with, and have nothing but good memories of Blacksburg and the Hokie fans.

Meh... ECU is just lucky that they don't have state schools that have any historically tremendous football programs. We get to compete with OU and its championships and OSU and their offensive history (Sanders, Thurman Thomas, Etc...) If we only had UNC & NC State, we'd probably be pretty well off as well (as far as fans go)
On another note, we might just steal you pirate, considering we've been the hurricane longer than you've been the pirates. If, or more aptly WHEN, we get rid of the retarded plush superhero Captain Cane, we may just have to go for a pirate captain.

What you have to deal with in football is what we have to deal with in basketball. If we didn't have Duke and UNC and NC State and Wake and Davidson etc. we would be pretty good at that!

LoL in our state alone we have UNC, NC State, ECU, Wake Forest, Duke, App State, and now Charlotte. VT is an hour from the border, as is USC. We have puh-LENTY of competition for fans in our area.

That's a good analogy. That's not to say that the basketball programs surrounding us are shabby either.
