Tulane had a strong defense last year, but i'm not sure they can bring it all together fast enough for this one, especially against a strong Duke. They will have a better time of it than they did last year, (47-13) so that's a good thing I guess.

Tulsa has one of the better QB/WR tandems in the conference, and a senior running back that should hit 1,000 this year. Tulsa rights the ship, but the defense let's FAU keep it close.

Towson @ ECU
MY LINE: ECU 28-14
ECU wins big in finding out how its offense works with a new QB and OC... the catch is its against Towson--a team that from last year isn't very good--even at their level.

I think ECU struggles offensively. Need to find a solution at QB

Alabama A&M @ Cincinnati

This will be uglyier.

I don't see how USF can lose this, but tags will find a way to make you feel worried

Memphis feels the pain of losing a lot on their defense, but their offense rolls.

This could get ugly.

I think UCF covers pretty easily if the weather holds up. If it is a monsoon, it will be a low scoring game which makes a cover of -17 tough.

I watched the game last year the score wasnt indicative of how close the teams were on the eye test. tulane wont be all freshmen like last year and duke lost alot, reduce the turnovers and i think tulane has legitimate shot ..but ill pick duke as the safe pick

I am in agreement with PSU and Temple being so close it could arguably be a toss up.

I don't think I am moving down ECU points against Towson but I do agree that with a new qb getting just two weeks to work on timing in what would be their first major playing time stand in a game with an opponent that isn't your practice squad could be interesting. I bet we play both qbs during that game though. Who looks the best could have the edge going into that road game versus Florida the following week. What I hope doesn't happen is we overlook Towson and start thinking about Florida... to have a trap game week 1 would be bad.
