I see Tech fans do it and I see Marshall fans doing it and my question is why? How does last years score play any part in this years game? But hey don't worry Tech fans, you keep that score, at least you'll have something to point to
lol I saw WKU fans talking/pointing about/to your win over Marshall last year as many times as we talked about our win over you guys :)
I'm not saying it hasn't happen but I haven't seen it. Well other than to say Marshall was the best win we had and the most important win in our programs FBS short history.
To me that's giving Marshall respect.
Now Tech was clearly the better team on that day last year, clearly. But other things were going on just a day or so before this game that played a role in Western's flat play. I'm not saying game changing as in out come..Tech was clearly playing better on that day.
I just don't get the need to repeat a score but the way to stop that is to win. I get that part.

Everywhere I look I see that WKU is a CUSA favorite. Why? Because of how they (well, the offense) performed last season. And I read that Doughty is a player to watch and should be CUSA player of the year, etc. Why is that? Is it because we know how he's going to do this season already by looking into our crystal balls?
Last year's record (or score) isn't the only way to determine who will win (or be favored) this season, but it certainly is a decent start to predicting this year's game. It's part of the equation.
And we only have that score until there is a new one, that's not unique to us. Beat us this season, and you'll have a good basis for quieting talk of Tech beating you guys in 2016 (and we'll throw back all the reasons we think we can, like number of starters lost, new star players we've signed, circumstances from this year's game, etc.).
How many of those same players are still at Tech? Add in DC too. Even if all of your players returned and all of Western's ...
last years score still wouldn't mean anything. Well anything other han Tech won a game very easily...LAST YEAR. Comparing scores is useless, well next to useless
And so are all the preseason polls. Just preseason fun before the season starts

Coming from WKU's biggest troll, I take it as a compliment.
Troll? far from it I just tell it like it is and don't give a rats *ass if it pisses people off. But lets get a few facts into it...
I do that mostly with facts that can be backed up.

So why would anyone expect WKU to be good this season? Why would we expect WKU's offense to score a lot of points this season?
It's because of what they did last season!
It's not useless. It's not everything (otherwise we wouldn't need to play the games, at least not against any team you'd ever played before), but it's helpful. Especially when it's a big differential. We didn't get lucky against y'all last season. It wasn't a 1 point OT win against a team that ultimately had a better record overall and against similar opponents. It wasn't one player or one coach. It wasn't one ball bouncing the wrong way or one call that could have gone the other way.
It was a clear and total defeat.
That doesn't mean we'll win this year, but it's one (quite indicative) factor pointing in that direction.
Obviously, a 50 point swing from one season to the next is possible (look at USM's overall record from 2011 to 2012 or the Tech/Rice series overall). Sure it is. But that doesn't mean last years results (especially ones with huge margins of victory) aren't of any predictive value at all.

WKU fans seem to be the WORST. How are Tech fans supposed to feel? We beat you fair and square, badly, ON THE FIELD, by 50 frickin points, and we've still had to listen to your fans' non-stop crap for the last 11 months.
Here's the difference: Marshall beat LA Tech by 3 points, at home, in the CUSA championship game. But LA Tech fans don't continually get in the face of Marshall fans and belittle their victory, telling them how "lucky" they were. No, Tech fans are at least respectful of the fact that the game was played fairly, and that "luck" never entered into it. In fact, we tip our hat to Marshall's fairly earned victory.
THAT'S the lesson WKU fans need to learn.

You are a troll and you bring nothing to the table when it comes to discussing football. You give a lot of good WKU posters a bad name with your incessant jabbering. Go back and read your post. Even you can figure out why Tech fans have no respect for your rambling.

Welcome to our world La tech fans. Western Ky has never loss a game without there be some type of extenuating circumstances that caused them to lose. Just ask them.

Well that's not true. You guys beat us in a tight one last year. Tip of the hat. La Tech beat us fair and square. Every team has off games. But sometime extenuating circumstances do occur. Like say the death of a team mate that was an offensive lineman the night before the game. And our line was Swiss cheese the next day. Now don't get my wrong La Tech took full advantage of it and did what they were supposed to do. But let's not act like the death of a team mate the night before you play a game doesn't have an impact on players mentally.
I think that is why some WKU fans get upset about Tech constantly bringing up the ass whooping. Because it was a down time for Hilltoppernation losing one of their own.

I agree 199%. It's the only game all year that we was mentally somewhere else and rightfully so. I could not imagine losing one of my best friends then try to go play a game hours later. La tech was on that day and took full advantage of our mental state of mind. It's not the score that bothers us WKU fans its pushing it in our face over a game that we know our players was heartbroken from the loss of they're teammate

Well, not everywhere.
.65% of Louisiana housing units lack complete plumbing facilities
.94% of Kentucky housing units lack complete plumbing facilities
Kentucky's concentration is in the Appalachian area of Eastern Kentucky.
Fwiw, West Virginia leads the conference at 1.01%.
Interestingly, New York state is .83% and Mississippi is .86%.....surprising comparison.

or wku518- called IK Enemkpali a tool and predicted he would never play again
Who said he will make team? He will be a nice CFL player and if I am wrong, I am sure I can scroll through your posts and find something you were wrong about before.. I don't care or have enough time to do this, so will let you slide for now...I am sure you are only perfect in your own mind...
