He hasnt really even had the chance to compete. Hes been out the past year and a half with Tommy John now his foots hurt

However it was posted everywhere on social media that we landed a 4 star QB by the majority of our uneducated fan base. Just like this year with John Jacobs being named by some dick wad as the best dual threat QB in the country. And bleacher report followed it up with an article saying he was a 5 star, which led to my idiot friends I graduated with from ECU asking if Jacobs would start day 1 and how he would lead us to 10 wins etc this year.

Now I hope Jacobs is the next big thing, but its a difference in bleacher report calling you a 5 star and 247sports saying your a 3 star and the 49th best dual threat

John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith, his name was my name toooooo!

He has the best arm, He is the best Runner, and He is the most athletic of our QB's just has to settle down and grow up on the field with true experience on the filed this year. It will be scary, fun, and frustrating at times for sure to break in a new young QB. Carden was steady and smart, with a very accurate arm. Kurt has more natural athletic ability, that ability can bring our QB play to a higher level OR get us into trouble quicker!!! We will see.

Benkert will be fine but the same statement was said about Rio, besides shane being a little bit better of a playmaker with his feet

Rio had a cannon and if you look past the skin color you could realize that shane was the better scrambler and rio had the better arm of the two. clearly shane won the job because of the intangibles and leadersip qualities. Rio had NFL arm strength and it was said as early as his freshman year on pirate radio by skip holtz
