There is a lot of talent on that USF team and your coach has been very successful elsewhere. The Bulls winning 6 wouldn't surprise me at all. The surprise is that it hasn't happened earlier.

usf will only be favored in 3 games. and i believe smu will turned around enough that they will probably be able to beat USF

I think they have the talent to win 6 but you arent going to win without a quarterback, usf fans are trying to hype their current qb.. but ive seen nothing to remotely indicate he can win

he was a 4star athlete but no one offered him as a qb, he had 2 games with significant minutes last year, looked HORRIBLE, played in the spring game couldnt score a single TD, and what practice film ive seen of him his throwing motion is very weird and his passes arent accurate alot of the times.. but they somehow see him scoring the required 30-40 points a game (versus better defenses) that will likely be asked of him to win that many games
USF fans are hyping him up because some beat writer said he looked nice in some of the media open practices (a reporter that have hyped up other failed qbs aswell)

i thinks asaintii is a different situation, he has alot to work on himself, but he is definitely serviceable enough to create room for their dynamic run game..a former 4 star QB, he is pretty accurate with a deep ball and has great touch, his glaring weakness is decision making but USF's new offense isnt a prostyle that requires alot of defense reading and picking apart

Franchione was a bust.
Patterson has been excellent.

Patterson was the DC at TCU under Fran. One has had great success. The other has had mediocre results.
Was Tag not able to bring his staff with him?

More than anyone in this league, you guys should soooo much better. The talent you have around you, the talent already on the team. USF should be a top team in the league every year.

Are you recruiting the wrong players? Are they over hyped since they come from FL? Poor coaching (with a poor culture in the locker room)? Amazing to me you aren't so much better.

I agree the mccheese lost was terrible and the worst in USf history.

That said, I will give him a semi pass as they were all Skip's players. Not an excuse, but Skip left cupboard beyond bare.

The talent level is off the charts now compared to then. All we need is a reliable QB. Hoping one of Flowers, Bench, or Woulard is that guy.

The RB position is absolutely stacked behond belief. It wouldn't surprised me to see close to TWO 1,000 yard rushers at USf this year. Everyone knows about Mack, but there is very little dropoff to Tice and Johnson.

We keep hearing good things about Steven Bench in fall camp. It'll probably be Flowers, but Bench may be a better passer.

If Woulard is eligible, he will be starter by game 3. Still awaiting word on waiver.

Flowers passing is a work in progress, but he's an electric runner. Offense more tailored to him.

USF has the talent to get bowl eligible without question......IF QB play improves at all this year. That's the bottom line.
