Exclamation FOXSPORTS predicts the AAC
Interesting -- likes Temple over Cincinnati

The American race should be highly competitive, with at least five teams – Cincinnati, Temple, UCF, Memphis and Houston – capable of winning the league. I’m particularly bullish on the Owls, which return every single starter from the nation’s 11th-ranked defense last year. But Justin Fuente has assembled a talented roster at Memphis led by QB Paxton Lynch. The Tigers pull an upset in the first-ever league title game. -- SM

Hopefully ECU, USF, and a couple of the 4-8 west schools can pick up one more OCC win.

Fox Sports will find out September 12 when Cincy host Temple. My money is on Cincy at home in the new Nippert.

First time someone actually gives Coach Morris a bit of credit. 4 wins would be a nice move in the right direction. Sounds right to me, although we have a shot at 5 - which feels much better.

I doubt the real people that matter -- coaches and players --are underestimating anyone. For some strange reason what fans and the press think is pure BS when it comes to playing the game.

My hope is an American team with a "solid" OOC schedule goes undefeated or at worst has 1 loss which gives our league the Access bowl and a shot at the CFP.

I wish I was confident that would be ECU but though I expect and improved Defense, consistent WRs and RBs, our QB situation is an unknown. September will tell the tale. Go Pirates! Go American!

All credibility was gone when I saw Temple at 10-2. No way that happens. Winning season prob, I say 7 or 8 wins tops for Temple. I guess we shall see.

The American race should be highly competitive, with at least SIX teams – Cincinnati, Temple, UCF, Memphis, NAVY and Houston – capable of winning the league.

We need this, for the AAC & every school in the AAC. I'm pulling for Memphis, of course, but if we can't win it all, I'm hoping someone can in an undefeated fashion to get the access slot, to gain attention & respect for the conference & put $$ in some school coffers.

8-4 wouldn't be bad but it would be disappointing.
