RE: The War on I4 just got a little more tangible.
The best part is UCF got their billboards through a UCF alumni at Clearchannel and pulled off a great troll at USF.
USF retaliated by purchasing billboard space and putting up their bulls unite...plea
Smart spending. UCF may not completely dominate the Orlando market but pretty sure no one is running to jump on the Taggart bandwagon. That money could have gone for pizza to get a few more USF students to go to the game....or 1-way bus tickets to RayJay for the Tampa homeless.

You weren't around for the earlier years then, or perhaps when they took out their shovel and dug up part of field to take with them. I'm guessing if UT has done that in the liberty bowl and you guys were enjoy a two game win streak you'd be pretty excited too. Not to mention the other drama that usf has involved in with UCF.

That's because you weren't around for 2005-2009. Usf fans would brag not based on merit but merely because they got big east bcs invite and we didn't. Even though they completely wasted the decade they spent in the bcs conference we had to hear "got bcs?" Annually.

Funny how things turned out in the end and who really ended up getting "BCS"
A combination of posters including triple b and zero bull chip on their forum single handedly got me to hate that program during that time period.

That game still haunts me....lol.
Nobody outside of diehard UC fans had heard of Collaros and the kid took over the game.
Oh btw....everyone needs to notice the crowd at the game. No offense to UC, but this wasn't a blueblood opponent playing at RJS...yet USF had over 50,000 for that game at an OFF CAMPUS STADIUM.
Bottom line: if you win and feature an exciting style of play....people will come watch on or off campus.
....and yeah....that run really stings. You SUCK SuperFly'...
Interesting how back when big east was a BCS conference, ESPN had USF listed. Now days, any chance they get, they put up S.Florida
It's BS, I do think ESPN works in any way possible to diminish AAC brands unless they get called out on it as UCF admin has done to them. I know a lot of you bulls fans will say you don't care about being referred to as south Florida...... But the S.Florida graphic looks ridiculous and hurts perception. ESPN knows what they are doing. It's time your admin calls them out on it.
I pointed this out a few weeks ago but a couple of your "friends" denied it...
Enjoy your time in the limelight....and if your coach ever slaps one of his players, look the other way. Oh...wait...you guys already do that. j/k
Interesting comment from a Mod that just complained ITT about UCF fans running smack too often.

Weak! At least we don't get kicked out of conferences because of utter futility. Don't start running smack Temple fan, you don't have the goods to back it up.
Lol just pointing out that you're included in your own statement. Sensitive guy huh
UCF has some moderate branding as a result of the Fiesta bowl win and multiple AAC championships. In any event, this could be Temples year to break out and win the AAC and hopefully get into the access bowl which will definitely help with Temples's branding. If not UCF, I'm pulling for Temple this year.
Thanks for the support, we need to start pulling our weight in football and this is the year to do it.

Beat ND or Penn State at home, go 7-1 in AAC and then you still won't match what UCF did in 2013. I'm happy that you've become this years trendy Cinderella pick, but it will take a few years of success to build that brand back. Only an Access run can get it done in one season. Most talking heads point to our Fiesta Bowl win, but overlook the 2010-2014 run of success because of a 5-7 season mixed in there.
Houston is overdue for a resurgence, and Memphis is a 5-7 season away from a football brand reset. I'm looking forward to beating Houston to close out the season with 3 straight home wins and our 3rd straight AAC title.

Everything shifts. All programs ebb and flow. Sometimes up, sometimes down. UCF has been more on the down than the up. New UCF fans are more cocky than the old who know what it is to suffer as a fan. Right now USF is down so they are humble, but there was a time.....

Was usf ever "up" in college football? They had a new few weeks a decade ago but ended the season like all others: less than 10 wins, no championship, etc. by your logic usf is due big time for an upward ebb

I think you're confusing humility with evaporation. I was at RayJay on Black Friday 2014, there were a lot of humble USF fans posing as empty seats.

Having been at RayJay for the 2005 and 2007 games...I did at least respect the few USF fans that showed up last Thanksgiving for their Senior Day vs UCF...as at least they are diehard fans and came out to support their team...unlike the bandwagon folk that abandoned ship a long time ago.
