Nope. There are significant numbers of us who actually went to UM.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Most of UM's fan base has never even seen the actual campus.
UM football is sinking so fast its unbelievable the rest of the big boys started recruiting heavy in South Florida during the time UM was at its peak.
The UM fans did not push hard enough to build a stadium or good faculties.
Now players like Bridgewater and Cooper leave South Florida.
UM fans seem to think because they have "swag'' It will all come back to them one day.
They cant even buy out Golden's contract through 2020 Despite him being maybe the worst coach in the country.
UM fans are like that fat old football star in his high school jacket that still thinks the girls will just come to him because of who he is.
Meanwhile nobody has pay attention to you in a decade.
Like I said we have significant numbers of fans who did in fact go to UM. There are lots of UM fans, it's true, but there are also almost 200,000 living UM alums. UM fans didn't push hard enough for a stadium? Lol. I guess you've never been to Coral Gables. There is literally no room for a stadium. And where there might of been there is now a basketball arena and a hospital going up. People pay attention to Miami still. If they didn't we wouldn't have been ranked so high a few years ago (#6, I think) before losing a bunch of games and getting pre-season votes this year. Well, I know there are "those fans" in every fan base - the ones you kind of shake your head at. I guess FAU is not immune to those fans...

I will be there cheering as loud as I can to make sure that doesn't happen!! 2018 and 2019 will be fun to get back into the swing of things with FIU...
You gotta give UM some credit, though, for actually being willing to schedule games with G-5 teams. It would be shocking if someone like Alabama or Ohio State were to do that type of thing. There's a real divide among "uppity" P5 programs and realistic P5 programs like Miami (FAU this year), OK State (UTSA last year), Missouri (Arky State), and Penn State (Temple).

I have no complaints about Miamis scheduling except I think all 3 games should have been in Boca in the first place, and Miami could have had the revenue from the other two games. Fully packed 30,000 seat stadiums look a lot better than half full 65,000 seat stadiums. The game energy is much better.

I understand where you're coming from but let's be honest, Canes fans would never be okay with that. Plus 50,000 at Dolphin Stadium is a lot more $$$ than just doing it at Boca. Tho I do agree re: 30k seat full looking better. Miami game energy should be better this year with the renovations, which is nice.
