Weather looks to be only slightly better than during last night's football game.

Pepperdine scored 2 absolutely spectacular goals to demonstrate the amount of talent they have. Rockets are a very young team. Hopefully this brutal schedule they are playing will translate into wins in conference play.

Here's a link to the Pepperdine game story. The Rockets (now 1-4) face Loyola Marymount on Sunday. As northcoastrocket pointed out, UT's schedule is difficult. Still, the Rockets haven't scored a goal since the overtime winner against Detroit to start the season. Hope they can at least get on the board against Loyola.

RE: UT soccer 2015
Still 0-0 at the end of regulation. Headed to extra time.

Rockets withstood a lot of pressure from LMU in the 2nd but didn't give up a goal. Had some good opportunities on counter-attacks, but never really able to come up with the strong finish that would test the keeper.

RE: UT soccer 2015
Heartbreak for the Rockets, after having the better play for most of OT, a defensive lapse allows LMU to score with 7 seconds left to take the game 1-0.

Yeah. In soccer there are 3 severity levels of fouls, normal, yellow-card, and red-card. 2 yellow-cards by the same player, or 1 red-card and the player is ejected and cannot be replaced.

Thanks. I knew about the ejection piece but my 8'year old teams never got that violent so I never ran into it in my long and ignorant coaching career.
