Most Improved Players
O'Leary said at the UCF media day today that QB Justin Holman is the most improved player from last year. If this is true then it could be an exciting year for the Knights.

It got me thinking about what everyone has heard/thinks about who their most improved player is or will be from last year?

RE: Most Improved Players
I'm going to say for Tulsa it will be Jeremy Brady who is contesting Michael Mudo (who everyone thought was going to be the de facto starter) for a starting safety spot in camp.

Also, we get Jesse Brubaker back from injury who was quite impressive at DT as a true freshman.

Also in the running are Jeremy Smith who started last season at DE as a true freshman, and Petera Wilson who is making the jump back to his HS position of linebacker.

Did the 2 lineman start last year? If so, and they made substantial improvements, look out!

Good call on Davis. He's much better suited for this offense, and Morris actually recruited him while at Clemson.

RE: Most Improved Players
Players I think will open eyes this year -

Offense: RB Anthony Scott, WR Trevon Brown

Defense: NT K'Hadree Hooker, SS Terrell Richardson

I also want to add the bold prediction that our 6'6 258 lb. TE Bryce Williams will be among the top 3 TEs in the country after this year, and will be picked in the top 2 rounds of the draft.

No, they didn't play. Dogbe is the only one who played last year (first 4 games).

K'Hadree Hooker is no longer playing on the team. Sustained an injury and his football career is done.

What??? Since when? He played great in the bowl game, and I'd read all spring that he'd been killing it. There was an article up in like May that he was one of the 4 strongest players on the team per Connors.

A tight end picked in the first two rounds? That doesn't happen very often

RE: Most Improved Players
I'll chime in from Navy fan perspective. Spring ball winner of the Admiral Mack award for most improved player was junior QB Will Worth- with Tago Smith out he was taking #2 snaps, but is still #3 on the depth chart.
I will say our most improved for the 2015 season come from positions where we lose seniors but reload every year. On offense, slot back Demond Brown and on defense LB Myer Krah.

He was held out for most of spring and retired due to concussions.

I've got to give credit where it's due. While Fans of programs may quibble a bit with the individual selections, I've got to tip my hat to Pesik for taking the time to do enough research to make reasonable choices. I couldn't do it for all conference programs off the top of my head and doing all of the required research isn't on the "to do" list.

But I'm not crazy right...this was below the radar? I was really looking forward to him after Swamp Monster graduated (if that's the correct term...ran out of eligibility maybe?). I mean I knew about his previous concussion(s)...but I just never saw anything. Thought I kept myself in the loop obviously I suck.

I doubt the MIP on every team will be on offense

No worries... Demage Bailey sophomore Dline is rising star 6'5" about 320 S&C stats are among best in program...Just signed Juco DT Anthony Orr 6'3 353# 435 bench 700 squat 4.9 forty 28 vert....

I doubt the MIP on every team will be on offense

true...but we have mostly offensive coaches on offensive teams, most teams in this league have the most room to grow on offense or i just have more faith in their offense

i aslo doubt it the MIP will all be skill players too but at the end of the day those are the only stats the media and majority of fans will take not of
