I'm not sure why they went on the cheap when building the football stadium. Especially considering how nice the basketball arena is. Of all the G5 basketball arenas I have been in, UCF's is likely in the top 3 in my list.

UCF'S hand was forced. We were being kicked out of the citrus bowl as they planned to shut down for a year for upgrades (which they only finished last year). UCF told them to pound sand, and in December '06 we financed a plan for a stadium, and in September '07 we played our first down on campus against the university of Texas.

We didn't have the luxury of time, so we had to get something cheap and efficient. The stadium has the versatility to be whatever we want it to be though, as our new east side club is testament to, and it was good enough for FAU to copy, so it can't be that bad.

I know a lot of USF fans criticize your stadium, but I like it. The only suggestion I would have for improvement would be to rip out the benches and go with gold chairbacks, similar to how FAU did their seating. Other than that, I like your stadium a lot.

It's a work in progress. With the ESC upgrade, they ripped out the steel bleachers along the upper level sideline, east side, and put in gold chairbacks. It looks pretty damn good, not gonna lie. We're also putting all weather tvs and upgrading the sound system this year, along along with the first building facade.

But ya thanks for the props. I'm hoping usf and MOSI move forward with your stadium plans. MOSI needs a face lift only a bull dozer can provide anyway.
