Happened onto the Sagarin Rankings from last season and was surprised that the IAA Missouri Valley Conference was rated ahead of both CUSA divisions, both MAC divisions, the AAC, the Sun Belt and one MWC division. Sagarin has been around for a long time and is well respected. A little depressing.

You only have to look at the Toledo and New Hampshire rankings to know the Sagarins are a bunch of crap.

UNH is Colonial which is ranked below. However, NDSU beat Cyclones by 20. SDSU lost to Mizzou by 20 on road. A .500 conf MVC team beat a .500 conf MAC team in 2014. Maybe some truth especially with scholarship disparity.

I think healthy Toledo, WMU and NIU last season were better than every FCS team with maybe the exception of NDSU. We could beat them?? The rest of the MAC could lose to many FCS teams, especially the Eastern teams (Michigan and Division).

RE: Conference Strength
Sagarins are questionable between FBS schools, they're definitely crap when trying to compare with FCS, which only plays 1 or 2 games against FBS, and sometimes none. Illinois State is at #41, though they didn't play any FBS schools, and last I checked, the teams they played won maybe 1 game against FBS while losing 10 or more.
