O'Leary and Diaco standing next to each other / hanging out. Seems like the "Civil Conflict" is going really well.

I had it on while getting the kiddos breakfast this morning. Only real "newsworthy item" is that a bowl eligible Navy will appear in the Military Bowl this year...unless of course, they get selected for an Access Bowl. So, everyone else is pretty much looking at G5 post season opponents unless back-ups/Access/Miami buyout come into play.

The quality of some of the "media" is questionable. Lots of bloggers and such as I've found through reading Twitter feeds.

'Our goal is to be in the Power 5 conversations as the 6th power conference. We believe we already are.' - Aresco

not if we sh1t the bed like last year. we need two or three schools to consistently be in the top 25 to get there........ not just "getting votes."

how exactly were we a power conference with last years performance?

Last years performance is a huge factor in only 2 AAC teams getting votes in the coaches poll (and they only got 1 vote each). We have a lot of image repair to do this year. Like I said, I do believe the league will be perceived as being better this year. The problem last year was only one team surprised to the upside (Memphis), while several teams were worse than expected (Houston, SMU, Tulsa, UConn, USF---even UCF and Cinci to a degree). This year I think with expectations of the league so low---we will have more upside surprises than down.

Going over rule changes now.
No more over built face masks or shirts tucked up under their shoulder pads, shirt must be tucked into their pants. Two rule changes that I am glad are happening.

This season, most everyone was looking at a G5 opponent anyway. The only two AAC bowls slated to have a P5 opponents are the Birmingham and Military bowls. So, sounds like the only one open is Birmingham.

Since when did knowing how to properly fit/wear a suit become laughable. Maybe The UH staff should shown those guys to a tailor shop.

stop being stupid....

you're talking about some 18-21 year old kid-jocks...you really think they care what you think of the suit their coach made them wear?
