No idea, just guessing maybe he doesn't have enough time to do it anymore. It was my favorite way to pass the time leading up to football season along with NCAA Football on XBox. But now I don't have either

I thought I saw a tweet early in the summer that he was going to do it, but instead of a day by day countdown was going to release it by conference?

That's just not true, imo. Boise has been the best G5 team (along with TCU and Utah) for several year and have deserved every BCS bowl / Access bowl game they were invited to. However, if someone has a better season than Boise, they will get it... even if they are both undefeated.

For example, if ULM beats Georgia and Alabama and goes undefeated and Boise beats Washington and Virginia and goes undefeated, ULM would get the Access bowl over Boise St due to a more impressive season. (but ULM would likely be playing in the national championship game... lol).

Doesn't a committee decide? Again, as I understand this thing, there is no set protocol for determining who is the best and therefore gets the Access Bowl. It's done in one of those proverbial smoke-filled rooms.

That is why Boise will always get the benefit of the doubt...Last season even if Marshall had gone undefeated it was clearly shown by how committee voted Boise would have gotten spot still over Marshall....Boise has advantages we do not have....

I really missed his countdown. It was always the best IMHO and he was the only one that seemed to REALLY know all the programs, not just the P5. Dont know what happened.
