Agree on this completely... He should have been DPOTY in the conference last year.

No disrespect to Mayo in any way but Dobson made the TWO- not just one but TWO- biggest defensive plays in the conference season last year with the PBU at the pylon against ULM on the second to last play in that game and the 100+ yard pick six at Texas State.

The object of the game is to win, and the object of the season is to win the championship- not simply accumulate stats- and Dobson made the plays that not only won two games but won the conference title for GS. No other defensive player in the conference can lay claim to that.

I'm glad to see our kick returners getting some love and this isn't the first time I've seen that. The problem I have is I don't recall anything dynamic in our kick returns last season. Are the rest of the leagues kick returners not very good?

Except Smith, our returners (ie: Franks, Mager) graduated. I assume they have no clue who will emerge for us in their places. That could be true for other schools and they went with known commodities. Just a thought.
