Like most folks, I'm thinking SMU. Because you "lasso" a mustang.
If that's the case, it's a great home and home for us. In state always rocks, it's a winnable game for us, and bringing a former SWC team to San Marcos is a win every day of the week (and twice on Sunday).

nah they are too good to travel to a sbc school.. I like the chances for tech/smu/houston. baylor is going to utsa so maybe they would be a prospect for san marcos. any of that group would make a good crowd.

It looks like a winnable game today, but might not be so easy when the date finally rolls around. But look at the bright side. If it's '17 & '18 it'll finally give you guys a chance to prove to a bowl commission that your fans travel well.

That's our goal this year with UH. But with two bowls in the DFW area this could help too.
As much grief as we give the AD, Teis is crushing scheduling lately. Home and homes since the move up with Tech, UH, Tulsa, and SMU. Plus a multi year series with UTSA. Now to get Rice and UNT (their schedule is full for a while). And hold out hope for Baylor or TCU.

Chad Morris is bringing his fast-paced Power Spread from Clemson to the Ponies. I read an article that in practice he expects the offense to conduct 29 plays in 5 minutes. He wants to be fast and wear the opposing Defense out.
