The University of Louisville seems to have a lot going on, but why are you posting about that here???

I just thought it was an interesting subject. Showing the improvement of the University and what it's doing.

I didn't think it was inappropriate but if it is you can delete the thread.

The press box renovation along with the video board were updates very very much needed to say the in the least

Yes, it is huge and part of the 100,000 SF Athletic Performance Center now connected to our Indoor Practice Facility. It should be completed by mid- September, as will our Track & Field Complex. Will post pictures when completed.

We are about 1/3rd of the way of the fundraising front to meet the Tier II goals. Tier II is a $65 million dollar expansion/renovation of the current upper deck (demo & complete reconstruction) and a matching upper deck on the visitors side. Bringing capacity to roughly 46k.

That's crazy ECU numbers, can a little ol SBC team actually pull that off???

You guys are making a hard push to either make the SBC better, or get that Big 12 invite.

I personally think that 46k might be to big, but if they were to expand that be my choice to build an upper deck on the student side. The upper deck and press box really needs an upgrade, and I am glad they built the weight room before they did the construction on the stadium. I really think it will help build up all-sports at UL.

Build it while can, we will already have set cost incurred with initial construction, build for future...especially with the red tape in this state.
