TCU is an actual rivalry game with the potential for upsets. SMU knocks off TCU every now and then. See 1998, 2005, 2011.

SMU hasn't beaten Baylor or Tech since 1986. Hasn't beaten A&M since 1984. They need to start winning some of those games. Sure, the death penalty was a huge setback. But that excuse is over now.

I'm not worried about Bowlsby comments, he thinks he is the big1/2 commish, he isn't, Texas is.

if we are playing texas the game should be at TDECU period unless we are getting paid 5 million plus (just a number to make me happy). texas's last few games against Rice in NRG didn't fill up the stadium if i remember correctly.

SMU was on the way up until their ex head coach decided to just start cashing his check. I expect SMU to surprise some teams this season. I just hope my Coogs are not one of them.

Two things. First, the Coogs are finalizing a home and home with the Tardhorns? That's news to me. Second, Bowlsby should know better than to take pot shots at a school in another conference. Completely uncalled for.

What shocked me most was Bowlsby taking a shot at SMU... I get it SMU has been down for quite some time but football is a sport everyone in Texas and SMU cares most for they (SMU) just had some tough breaks in the coaching department.

I agree with some here, the Stangs will surprise a few this season but next year is when I believe we all better bring out A game against them.

Bowels-by is a clueless commissioner and a total tool of Austin. His days are as numbered as Patterson's are as AD at Texas.
