It's still wrong, in his first year alone Ruff beat #24 Tulsa and #25 NC State

All hail ecu, the greatest g5 giant killer of all time!

Better?
Damn. All that because he corrected you? A little sensitive aren't we?

Talk about sensitive, zfred12 didn't author the article. You and other ECU fans disputes are with the author of said article not with posters that are merely trying to figure out the criterion used to arrive at the conclusion.
No dip we're trying to figure it out because whatever way he used to come to that number is wrong. Zfred12 is telling us what he thinks it is, and I'm telling him why that's not the case

Piss off. What ever it is you're trying to figure out is obviously above your limited intelligence.

Rankings schmankings.

I thought the common understanding is that noncontract conference teams aren't ever supposed to beat contract conference teams.

Now that is an intelligent post! Not using the media labels p-5/G-5 but rather the more accurate definition of contract versus noncontract. Kudos! 04-bow

Never have and never will use the letter "G" plus the number five together in a sentence on this forum or anywhere else. It's a figment of somebody's lacking imagination.

Well it says we beat one so

if you are using the coaches poll.....this is using the AP....

like i said as a fan we kepp up with all polls, so ecu beat 2 ranked teams...

but for stats like this you can only use 1 poll or it really doesn't make sense (you cant have 29 teams ranked in the top 25)...and the one they used said ecu only beat 1..but we know overall they beat 2 including all polls

I can't remember if NC State was in the top 25 or not when we beat them in 2010 but I know for a fact North Carolina was number 25 when we beat them but only in either the AP or the coaches poll not both but I forget which one. So Ruff should have two.
