can't tell you guys how I know....but it's a very crediblea source...

it appears we are getting ready to get our arse reamed..........again....

We are guilty, we did it. Another if not 2 year ban with s/s and visit reductions. Nothing to cry about. Our former ad and compliance team let this happen. I did notice that the source of where the prepaid cards came from was not made an issue. Its a pretty safe bet exactly who furnished them.

"Let" as in "didn't see" or "let" as in "knowingly allowed?" They way you wrote that could go either way.

Based on his past actions i would dare say "knowingly allowed" Same guy who "self reported" Fedora for letting a conditioning workout be released on you tube because fedora hadn't watched it first. Then tried to sweep the tennis scandal under the rug.

For some reason I forgot about Ark and Mizzou. What? Arkansas's been in the SEC since 1997? Who knew? lol

It is a shame that the coach of no. 1 refuses to play them.

As far as FL is concerned, TN is a better job if for no other reasons than fan support and facilities. FL has never gotten the kind of support that their program deserved and the O'Connell Center is not impressive at all.

TN wants to play Memphis in basketball, and Memphis wants to play TN in football, so no basketball series with TN unless TN resumes the football series. I think it's sort of stupid since fans of both schools like the bball rivalry regardless of football. Memphis was able to resume a home and home in football with Ole Miss by agreeing to a home and home in basketball. Going far afield with the subject of this thread so . . . . .

You USM fans continue to take a hit with your athletic programs, and no fans deserve it less than USM--and your "hits" go far beyond the P5/G5 split. Hopefully, this is the bottom and there's light at the end of the tunnel. I certainly wish USM the best. Things can go south fast, but can also turn around fast. I would love to see UM and USM resume their football series--I think the longest rivalry for both schools going back to the 1920s with something like 60 games. I have no clue why UM schedules Missouri State and Bowling Green with zero fan interest. Plus, we could now finally beat you, lol. I remember my dad in the 50s and 60s talking about how the Alabama's and LSU's were scared to schedule USM. You all set the standard for southern independents.

I also think Eustachy was great for your hoops program and was sorry to see him go.

Don't think we should be slapped on the wrist. I am a die hard USM fan. But the coach did it doesn't wash for me. What Tyndall did was really bad. While I believe he snowed all the fans and the school, we have to take our medicine. The man should never, ever coach again. I believed him when he talked about how big he was on academics, he brought back old players and helped them get their degrees, and punished the players if they were late by 2 seconds for any academic meeting. What a lying piece of crap.
