Are you really touting Georgia State's "arrival" on the basis of a one time upset in last year's tourney? I would hardly call 3 NCAA tourney visits in the history of your program (with the round of 32 being the farthest advancement) being "there and then some."

Maybe in the Sunbelt that means a quality basketball program - in the AAC...not so much. 07-coffee3
I am sure Baylor thought that. LOL

This year's team will actually be better believe it or not.

At any rate I was answering someone else. We will be more than fine in any conference. In 3 years we will be the 4th largest University in America playing in an Olympic Stadium. I like what our future looks like.

Being a large university has nothing to do with athletic success. 15 Lehigh beat 2 Duke in 2012. They also have more NCAA appearances than Georgia State. Until Georgia State can make their tourney success a regular thing, they are no different than the Lehighs of the MBB (ie one medicore hit wonders)...07-coffee3

Yeah seriously lol TEMPLE is talking crap... I'd say we could settle it on the field but

A.) You don't have one

B.) It's been done so many times before by NIU

I mean I'd get it if a UCF fan said it... but freaking Temple?!

Temple would sweep the MAC this year. We're an upper tier AAC team and the gap between the AAC and the MAC is substantial.
You're high if you think Temple would beat NIU or Toledo...

We're returning every starter on a defense that was one of the best in the country last year. PJ Walker's #1 target from 2013 has returned to Temple, and we only lost two starters on offense. Zaire Williams our #1 running back is also returning from injury this year, and we added another 4* halfback. We would beat either, sorry to burst your bubble.
With all that going for the Owls, will you visit Gillette this Sept 19th.

Not salty at all. When it comes to basketball I'd just rather share a conference with schools who aren't a one hit wonder. No need to be overly sensitive....
