PS I have noticed that the way they portray low man coverage ratings defies all logic. Your corners just give up on the play or run away.

So I gave up on man coverage, especially on 3rd down, against the good teams in my first couple years of my offline dynasty. The CPU will KILL you on the sideline routes all day when you have bad corners.

Nah, trust me I'm not giving up, just likely to Sim more. Might try against the rest of my games though, as I got Idaho, NMSU and a 2-4 P5. At 5-3, really need two of those, cause I likely am not gonna win against the Yosef's.

Yep. I feel like my corners go into full idiot mode on sideline routes. The CPU WR's are always wide open and my DB's sometimes don't even react.

Having bad DB's in this game makes it that much harder.

Best way to beat it is to play press coverage and get pressure on the QB FAST with a DE or OLB. If they pick up the pressure though, they will burn you over the top (or anywhere really). I'll be putting ATHs on defense if it even remotely makes sense to do so.

No...that doesn't work. Don't even try that against me...and that's not part of my routine either...

Although I may have found a new setup for my boys to be more successful.

Yeah it's definitely not a gimmie against you. I think we are both probably better than when we played that exhibition. You're right I probably have more horses to work with, but if you turn me over like you did Texas State, that would be tough to overcome. Can't wait to get back to the user games.

Yeah.... new defensive scheme to suit my players. Also found a possible improvement on the offensive scheme in some practice last night. I play A State today.

I'll update my recruiting this evening. I'm not sure if I was done for my last week....meant to drop someone who I was giving 500 recruiting points for some new people...battling App for a WR, but I don't think I need to spend 500 on someone who won't contribute as much.

Oh well...that's what I get for drinking while playing NCAA.

I'm sorry about the Sleepy, it said all points were spent and all players were green to advance. I had no idea you were still working the recruiting.

No worries...it's my fault. I should have left it at 595 or whatever is 5 less than max. Due to my having to replace 26 seniors, it is hard to get top flight recruits. Tons of mediocre 3 and 2 stars just to fill roster spots. It is going to come back and bite me in the butt in a couple of years if I try, so I may just sign fewer recruits than what I need. That avoids me having to cut a few down the line that were just fillers.

Also, it seems most everyone is staying honest with not implementing the OC/DC skill points. However, if everyone will verify they are properly receiving points, can we please begin to implement them? We are going to be at a competitive disadvantage with the CPU is we don't.

Until we ADD more players to this dynasty we can go ahead and use the OC/DC if everyone wants to.. The problem is once a "new player" joins us there is a good chance they won't get now nor ever get XP. I can go through and look at the coaches and see if they've leveled. I believe it we started at 10 HC and 5 OC/DC I am now 12 HC and 6 or 7 OC/DC.

Sportscaster, Crutch, Ginga and A State do you want to use the OC/DC points?
