First off, where we both are is a conference that was rated higher than yours after all the games were played. Secondly, while I'll openly admit there's no defending Southern Miss at this point, you lost all credibility dragging Marshall into any comparison. Marshall finished in the Top 25, Houston didn't. Houston's home attendance average wasn't even 900 more than Marshall's, and that was with 40,000+ showing up for your stadium opener vs. UTSA--THAT YOU FREAKING LOST.
You AAC people who feel compelled to come here and talk sh*t are the equivalent of a high school junior with a 10-year-old Honda Civic trying to be cool by putting a huge spoiler on the back, chrome rims on the wheels, and one of those mufflers kits that can be heard from 3 blocks away on the exhaust. You're all, "Look how cool I am!" but you're still just driving the same old POS used cars everyone else is underneath it all.

Southern Mississippi is definitely a darkhorse this year. I think they'll make a bowl game, but I don't see them winning the West. UTEP and Southern Miss are probably even this year. Rice and Louisiana Tech are a little ahead right now. I have a feeling that UNT and UTSA will struggle
